He's back! Katlego Maboe will be returning as a presenter on 'Expresso' in August.
Katlego Maboe is officially making a comeback on 'The Expresso Morning Show'. The TV presenter will be returning to our screens on Monday, August 8.
The last time the show's viewers saw him in action was in late 2020. He was removed from the show following damning claims about his personal life.
His then partner, Monique Muller, accused him of cheating. A video of a conversation between the former couple went viral.
The 35-year-old confesses to cheating in the footage, which was seemingly taken by Monique. She went on to accuse him of domestic violence.
Katlego denied the abuse allegations. Tens of thousands of people signed a petition calling for him to be put back on the show.
'Expresso' show producers, Cardova Productions, confirmed on Tuesday that he will be returning to the morning show, which airs on SABC3.
"After a protracted legal process, the courts absolved Maboe against these allegations in January 2022. On his big return next Monday, Katlego will be in conversation with Graeme Richards in what promises to be an emotional sit-down as Katlego unpacks the challenging journey he has been on over the past two years and how he got back to himself," officials said in a statement.
