Police release Justin Timberlake's mugshot from DWI arrest

Justin Timberlake has found himself on the wrong side of the law.
The 43-year-old was arrested on Tuesday, June 18, for driving while intoxicated. The Sag Harbor Police Department nabbed the singer on Long Island in New York.
According to PEOPLE, Timberlake was pulled over shortly after having dinner at a hotel. He allegedly ran a stop street and failed to stay in his lane.
"On June 18, 2024, at 12:37 AM, Justin R. Timberlake, age 43, of Tennessee, was observed operating a 2025 BMW southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel," police said in a statement.
"A traffic stop was initiated by a Police Officer from the Sag Harbor Village Police Department and upon investigation it was determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition."
According to several reports, the 'Selfiish' singer allegedly refused to take a breathalyser test. He reportedly told police he “had one martini" and followed his friends home.
However, social media users are convinced this is not the case after seeing the mugshot released by the police. His eyes look “bloodshot and glassy".
"The red in his eyes alone snitched on him," one Instagram user remarked.
Another user added: "He looks high in that mugshot."

Officers say “his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath."

Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. Timberlake is expected back in court on July 26.
His wife, Jessica Biel, is currently in New York shooting scenes for a new Amazon series.
Shortly before his arrest, Biel praised her husband for being an amazing dad to their two children -Silas and Phineas.
"You’re so many things to so many people. But to us you are THE ROCK. The rock we climb on, we lean against. The rock that shades us from the sun. And when we recline on you, as we always do, hopefully our butts will keep you eternally grounded and warm. We LOVE YOU," she wrote.
