Justin Timberlake has pleaded not guilty to driving while intoxicated.

The 43-year-old, who is currently on tour in Europe, appeared in court virtually on Friday to face charges related to his drunk driving arrest.

He was arrested in June, shortly after having dinner at a Long Island hotel in New York. The Sag Harbor Police Department pulled over the 'Mirrors' hitmaker's 2025 BMW X7 for "failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel".

"A traffic stop was initiated by a Police Officer from the Sag Harbor Village Police Department and upon investigation it was determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition," police said in a statement at the time.

According to Vanity Fair, Justin refused to take a breathalyser test three times. This ultimately led to the judge suspending his driver's licence on Friday, which means he has temporarily lost his driving privileges in NYC.

Justin's attorney tried to have the charges dismissed due to an issue with paperwork not being signed. However, his legal team withdrew the motion. Justin was re-arraigned on Friday with revised paperwork.

The judge also slammed Justin's attorney for comments he made to the media about the singer's case. He previously told the press that Justin was "not intoxicated" when he was nabbed in June.

"I'll say it again. Justin Timberlake was not intoxicated. And we are very confident that charge, that criminal charge, will be dismissed," WABC quoted his attorney as saying after a hearing in July.

The judge told the attorney to "be more mindful when giving comments", adding that they "come off as an attempt to poison the case before it even begins", People reported.

The attorney was also told that he could face a gag order. Another hearing has been set for August 9, however, Justin does not need to attend.

Meanwhile, the European leg of Justin's 'The Forget Tomorrow World Tour' has not been disrupted by the case. Justin was in Belgium on Friday.

He has upcoming stops in England, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden.
