No Joe Jonas, no problem! Sophie Turner and Taylor Swift go on dinner date
Taylor Swift is 'Team Sophie'!
Sophie Turner was spotted on a dinner date with Taylor Swift amid her divorce from Joe Jonas.
The 'Game of Thrones' star was all smiles when she was pictured with her estranged husband's ex-girlfriend on a girls' night out this week.
The pair linked arms as they walked into a restaurant in New York City.

Sophie and Joe announced they were divorcing in a joint statement shared on Instagram earlier this month.
"After four years of wonderful marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children," the statement read.
Shortly after the announcement, Joe was pictured having breakfast with their two daughters in Los Angeles. Many slammed the outing as a PR move.
Social media users claimed that Joe was trying to portray himself as the doting dad while Sophie was "out partying" in Birmingham, England.

So, how does Taylor fit into all of this? The 'Cruel Summer' singer dated the Jonas Brothers star in 2008, years before he met Sophie.
They relationship didn't last long and Taylor told Ellen in November 2008 that Joe broke up with her over the phone. The call lasted less than 30 seconds!
"It’s all right – I’m cool. You know what, it’s like, when I find that person that is right for me, he’ll be wonderful When I look at that person, I’m not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18," she said.
Taylor went on to write several break-up songs that fans believe are about him. She sings on 'Forever & Always':

Fans also believe that 'Last Kiss', 'You're All Over Me', and 'Mr. Perfectly Fine' are about Joe.
Taylor and Joe later patched things up and were even spotted on double dates together. Sophie and Taylor became friends when they both appeared on the 'The Graham Norton Show' in 2019.

Despite being friendly with the couple in the past, Taylor is clearly 'Team Sophie', and her fans are loving it.
"This photo makes me so happy! Girlfriends stepping up for each other must be celebrated," one X (Twitter) user wrote.
