Jennifer Love Hewitt gets real about ageing in Hollywood
Fans of the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' actress say she looks unrecognisable.
Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt says ageing in Hollywood is hard.
The 44-year-old star's looks have come under the spotlight in recent months, with some people accusing her of undergoing plastic surgery.
"You don't look nothing like the girl from Party of Five ... You changed a lot. Not in a bad [way], just completely different," one Instagram user commented on one of her recent posts.
One user even went as far as telling Jennifer to come clean.
"You’ve had extensive work on your face & would love [it] if you were honest about what we all can see, because many of us love you, and to not be honest about that feels a bit cringy."
Similar comments have been posted on just about every picture or video she shares of herself on social media.

Jennifer opened up about the scrutiny in a recent episode of the 'Inside of You' podcast.
"Ageing in Hollywood is really hard. You can't do anything right," she told host Michael Rosenbaum.
Jennifer recalled the criticism she received after showing off her new hairdo in August.
Celebrity hairstylist Nikki Lee, who has worked with stars such as Selena Gomez and Camila Cabello, dyed and cut Jennifer's hair into a bob style.
While fans agreed that her new haircut looked all kinds of amazing, many noted that her face looked very different.
"Wow... she doesn't look like herself anymore," one person commented. Another added: "Where is Jennifer? That looks nothing like her."

Jennifer told Michael that people accused her of using filters to hide what she really looks like.
"I was getting my hair done and I had not a stitch of makeup on. So, I threw on a filter. I really gave it no thought... A bunch of people were like, 'Jennifer Love Hewitt is unrecognisable... and so she's gone to filters because she doesn't want us to know how bad she actually looks now in her forties.' ," she said.
Jennifer added that ageing is a privilege. "It means you're here. It means you're still living it. It means every line is because of a smile or a laugh you had."

What happened to Jennifer Love Hewitt?
Jennifer is best known for films such as 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', 'Can't Hardly Wait' and 'The Tuxedo' starring Jackie Chan.
She also starred in popular TV shows such 'Party of Five' and 'Ghost Whisperer'. Her most recent role was as Maddie Buckley in Fox's '9-1-1'.
Jennifer is now a wife and mother. She married her 'The Client List' co-star Brian Hallisay in 2013. They have three children - Autumn, Atticus and Aidan.
The actress is also a businesswoman. She launched a holiday-themed venture called Holiday Junkie in 2021. It creates greeting cards and wrapping paper for every season.
