Jennifer Lopez ready to date again after Ben Affleck divorce
Jenny from the Block hasn't given up on finding true love again.
Jennifer Lopez is reportedly ready to date again following her shocking split from Ben Affleck in 2024.
She filed for divorce from Affleck in August last year, following months of speculation that their marriage was in trouble.
Lopez, who was married three times before, was allegedly devastated that their second chance at love did not work.
The former couple called off their first engagement in 2004, only to reunite in 2021 after Lopez ended her engagement to Alex Rodriguez.
"Before we kind of put [our relationship] out there and we were naïve and it got a little trampled. [This time] we both were like, 'Wow, we're so happy and we don't want any of that to come into play again,'" she told People in an interview.
"We're older now, we're smarter, we have more experience, we're at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things. We're so protective because it is such a beautiful time for all of us."
Sadly, it was not meant to be, and Bennifer finalised their divorce in January 2025.
However, according to Page Six, the 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' hitmaker is not letting heartbreak dampen her romantic life.
“Jennifer is ready to put herself out there again and she hasn’t given up on finding love,” a source told the publication.
The mole added she's even considering looking outside of the Hollywood dating pool.
"Jennifer is considering dating somebody who isn’t in the public eye this time around but she’s not limiting herself to any particular type."
Affleck, meanwhile, has been spending time with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and their three children.
They looked very cosy during a recent family paintball outing. The paparazzi snapped Affleck wrapping his arms around her as she took a shot.
However, Garner and Affleck are reportedly not back together as she's still dating businessman John Miller.
Affleck is said to be "casual dating".
