Jennifer Aniston is digging deep into her pocket to support her late friend Matthew Perry.
The 54-year-old actress took to social media on GivingTuesday to direct her fans to a new foundation set up in Matthew's name.
According to its website, GivingTuesday is celebrated on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving,
Jennifer decided to shine a spotlight on the newly set up Matthew Perry Foundation. The actor's family launched the foundation earlier this month.
"For Giving Tuesday, please join me and Matty’s family in supporting his foundation – which is working to help those suffering with addiction," Jennifer wrote on her Instagram Story.
She added: "He would have been grateful for all the love."
Matthew's family said in a statement that the foundation honours his legacy.
"The Matthew Perry Foundation is the realisation of Matthew’s enduring commitment to helping others struggling with the disease of addiction. It honours his legacy, guided by his own words and driven by his passion for making a difference in as many lives as possible."

The TV series ended in 2004, but Jennifer remained friends with the cast. She appears particularly close with Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller.
The pair have been spotted together on several occasions over the years. The entire cast reunited in 2021 for a special 'Friends' reunion produced by Warner Bros. Television and HBO Max.
'Friends: The Reunion' was hosted by James Corden, and featured an interview with the entire cast on their old 'Friends' set.

This was a chosen family that forever changed the course of who we were and what our path was going to be. Matty, I love you so much and I know you are now completely at peace and out of any pain," Jennifer wrote after his funeral.
