Rosa Onious has opened up about her heartbreaking final moments with Jamie.
The partner of acting legend, Jamie Bartlett, has revealed his cause of death. Rosa Onious was at home with the former 'Rhythm City' actor when she realised something was wrong.
She says the 55-year-old took an afternoon nap on Monday but did not respond when she later tried to wake him up.
"I said Jamie, Jamie, [but] Jamie didn't look up... I called my mom, who was outside, and she tried everything," Rosa told Channel 24.
They called an ambulance but paramedics could not resuscitate him. "It was too late," a heartbroken Rosa revealed.
She says an autopsy revealed that cardiac arrest was his cause of death. The actor reportedly died in his sleep.
Rosa told the Sunday Times in a separate interview that every day gets harder. "I know he is not there to wake me up with kisses, call my name. It's so painful."
