'How to Ruin Christmas' star Busisiwe Lurayi has passed away

South Africans are mourning the death of another star.
Condolences are pouring in for actress Busisiwe Lurayi.
The news of her passing was announced by her agency Eye Media Artists on Monday.
According to the statement from the agency, the actress, who is popularly known for her role in 'How to Ruin Christmas', died on Sunday at her residence. The cause of her death is unknown.
“We are deeply saddened to notify you of the passing of our beloved Busisiwe Lurayi. Busisiwe passed away suddenly and was pronounced dead at her residence on Sunday 10.07.2022 by medical personnel,” the statement reads.

“The reason for her death is still unknown as we wait for the results of the autopsy report."
Her agency has asked that the family be allowed to mourn in peace.
"We humbly request that you allow us as the family to come to terms with this tragic news.
“We thank you for the support that has been given so far and will provide further information as soon as it has been made available.”
The SAFTA winner has also featured in 'Sokhulu & Partners' and 'Ses'Top La'.
