Kim Kardashian has finally revealed why she and boyfriend Kanye did not give their daughter a name starting with the letter “K”.

In a break with the Kardashian family tradition, where all the girls’ names start with K (Kris, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendell, Kylie), Kim and Kanye chose to name their baby girl North West.

Since the couple announced the name, fans have been wondering why Kimye decided to avoid the letter K, especially since it forms such a huge part of the Kardashian fame-game. Now Kim has revealed all in the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The 32-year-old explained: "If we name our kid with a 'K' name, which is kind of what we want, mainly just because Kanye and I are Ks, then with our kid if it's a 'K', then they'll call us the KKK."

Meanwhile, Kim and Kanye are preparing to move into their new Bel Air home.

They’ve done extensive renovations to the mansion and are now putting the final touches to it by splashing out on furniture and fittings, including gold-plated toilets.

According to a source, Kanye hated the way the house was decorated when they bought it. “He’s never satisfied. Every day, he sees something new that’s outrageous.”

According to insiders the work on the house has gone way over Kim’s budget, with the pair apparently splurging out on gold-plated toilets, six special-edition luxury Savoir Royal State Beds and a Swarovski-encrusted fridge freezer.
