Jabulani Tsambo, popularly known as Hip Hop Pantsula (HHP), would have celebrated his 42nd birthday on Wednesday, 14 September.

The star died on 24 October 2018.

To celebrate the late star's birthday, his wife Lerato Sengadi took to social media to remember him with a sweet post which showed a HHP performance.

"BET: Jabba, we need you to come freestyle on the first ever BET Africa Cypher (2018). Jabba: Say less," she wrote.

She also spoke about how the rapper's life inspired her.

"I have always been in awe watching Motho create something outta nothing… creating moods outta words…. Creating music outta silence… listening to him freestyle was ALWAYS a treat cos, well, he could ACTUALLY freestyle. This particular day all he needed from me was to make him look good. Which I f**ken killed, head to toe baby!

"He killed his freestyle then we went home to watch “Amazing Race”. Happy Birthday wena San! Wena Bosso! Wena Legende. Wena Kgosi. Wena Prototype. Wena Motho. I know u skeemile Mawe & diyawa blind (as it always did)," she wrote.

She ended her post by saying love never ends.

In 2019, Lerato Sengadi said she felt "suffocated" by grief.

"How is it half a year already? The gaping hole in my heart & the pain that resonates from it are daily sobering reminders of a void that will never be filled," she wrote on IG.

"The grief is suffocating at times but the TRUTH, OUR TRUTH is the oxygen that keeps me going always. I am keeping all my promises to u, no matter how long it takes me (bcos the truth doesn’t change over time...it’s constant)," she added.

Last year, Lerato released a song on the late star's birthday.

"It started with me having a crazy idea of wanting to gift Motho a song on his birthday. I prayed on it. I phahla’d on it. And Modimo le Badimo showed up for me & guided me," she wrote on Instagram.

She thanked HHP for his guidance.

"I put my entire heart into making this track. I’ve never executive produced a track before but because Motho was guiding me every step of the way we created a banger!!!!," she wrote on Instagram.
