Gwyneth Paltrow quashes Meghan Markle beef rumours
The Goop founder is clapping back after several reports claimed she threw shade at the duchess in a video of herself cooking at home.
Gwyneth Paltrow set the record straight on where she stands with Meghan Markle after the British media claimed she had launched an all-out breakfast war on the duchess.
The drama unfolded when the Oscar winner shared a video of herself making breakfast in the kitchen of her Montecito home while wearing pyjamas.
"My cleaner take on a classic breakfast: gluten-free buttermilk biscuits, not-so-perfectly cooked over-easy eggs, and crispy bacon #boyfriendbreakfast," she captioned the clip.
Paltrow chose Natalie Cole's 'This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)' as the soundtrack to her video.
Social media users noted that Netflix used the song to promote Markle's new cooking series, 'With Love, Meghan'.
They then gathered that this was subtle shade towards the duchess, who some had criticised for not filming the show in her kitchen.
Markle's haters grinned with delight at the thought that an A-list star like Paltrow would be so shady towards her.
"Thank you, Gwyneth, for the integrity to show your real home... loving the breakfast!" one Instagram user remarked.
An X user commented: "Gwyneth Paltrow making breakfast in her pyjamas and in her real kitchen all while playing the promo song for Meghan Markle's show is 🤭🤭🤭 ."

But it looks like the Duchess of Sussex had the last laugh.
During a Q&A shared on Instagram Stories, one of Paltrow's nearly nine million followers couldn't help but ask the all-important question: "Are you comprehending the Meghan Markle beef that social media says you two have?"
The Goop CEO, who was recording herself in her kitchen during the Q&A, seemed quite perplexed.
"I genuinely do not understand this at all whatsoever. Do you understand this?" she asked.
Paltrow then turns the camera away from herself, revealing Markle is sitting right next to her.
The royal shrugs before giggling.
