Green flag! Benny Blanco gives Selena Gomez a sweet surprise
"He's screaming green flag." Selena Gomez's fans are praising her fiancé for going out of his way to make her feel special.
When Selena Gomez made her relationship with Benny Blanco Instagram official in December 2023, many people doubted they would last.
Fast-forward to 2025, and the lovebirds, who released a joint album in March, are getting ready to walk down the aisle.
Blanco has proven himself to be the biggest green flag, and his latest romantic gesture will make you swoon.
When the music producer learnt that Gomez had never experienced prom as a teenager, he decided to take matters into his own hands.
He gave the couple's fans a behind-the-scenes look at the moment he surprised her with a prom-themed date.
"My fiancée has never been to prom before. So, I asked her if we should take prom photos together at a mall," he captioned a video of the pair getting dressed up for their special day.
Blanco rented out a limo and put on a fancy suit.
"It was more fun than either of us expected it to be," he said. The 37-year-old included several prom pictures in his post.
"I continue to ship," Katy Perry commented.
Miss SA 2020 finalist Karishma Ramdev loved the gesture: "😍😍😍😍."
As if Blanco's flag couldn't get greener, their special prom date took place on his birthday in March.
"Selena had never been to a prom before, so I thought I’d throw us a prom for my birthday," he said on 'The Jennifer Hudson Show' earlier this month.
Blanco revealed he went to prom twice before, but Gomez is his favourite prom date.
"She didn’t even know. She was like, ‘What am I supposed to wear? What am I supposed to do?’ It was like she was really going to prom. I got her a little corsage.”
Social media users joked that they need a Blanco in their lives.
"Benny Blanco, you are the greenest flag to ever exist," one Instagram user wrote.
Another user added: "Can all men take notes, please?"
