Fake news! Oprah Winfrey denies she was arrested for sex trafficking
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Say what? Social media users are convinced Oprah is holding children against their will in an underground tunnel.
Queen O, aka Oprah Winfrey, is not currently locked up in prison for sex trafficking.
False stories doing the rounds online claimed the 66-year-old's home in Florida was raided by police.
Authorities allegedly found secret underground tunnels supposedly used to aid Oprah with her illegal activities.
Fake pictures and videos showed police "raiding" the home.

As if that wasn't shocking enough, the report went on to state that convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein had dirt on many A-list stars, including the talk show host, and had spilled the beans in exchange for a lesser sentence.
Some of the claims included alleged involvement in dealing drugs, child trafficking, and pedophilia.
One story went as far as claiming that several celebrities who are claiming they are in self-isolation because of the coronavirus are actually trying to avoid getting arrested by the feds.

Tom Hanks, Celine Dion, Madonna, Ellen DeGeneres, Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and Kevin Spacey were some of the stars mentioned in the fake reports.
Many social media users were quick to believe the rumours, with some calling for Oprah to "free" the sex slaves. She soon became a trending topic on Twitter, both in America and abroad.
Oprah finally decided to set the record straight after things got out of hand.
"Just got a phone call that my name is trending. And being trolled for some awful FAKE thing. It’s NOT TRUE. Haven’t been raided, or arrested. Just sanitizing and self distancing with the rest of the world. Stay safe everybody," she tweeted.
