End of an era? Kim Kardashian booed at Tom Brady’s roast

Kim Kardashian received a cold welcome when she took to the stage at Tom Brady's roast in Los Angeles at the weekend.

The reality star and businesswoman was one of the celebrity guests at the NFL star's roast, which was broadcast on Netflix.

She could barely get a word in when the audience booed her repeatedly. A newly blonde Kim took to the stage carrying a glass of champagne.

She was in the middle of telling a joke about host Kevin Hart when she was interrupted by loud boos.

"I know a lot of people make fun of your height," the 43-year-old began. Kim appeared taken aback by the boos.

"Alright, alright, alright," she said to calm the audience. Kevin had to step in. "Whoah, whoa, whoah," he pleaded.

While booing is generally considered rude, the internet celebrated Kim's humiliation.

"Oh man, I LOVE this crowd! Haha They totally booed Kim Kardashian for showing up. This Roast of Tom Brady on Netflix is hilarious," one X (formerly Twitter) user wrote.

Another user added: "Kim Kardashian getting flat booed at the Brady roast is the highlight of this roast."

A third wrote: "Kim Kardashian getting publicly booed at Tom Brady’s roast is one of the greatest things to ever happen ever."

The Kardashian-Jenner brand has been taking a lot of heat in 2024, with many declaring the end of the Kardashian era.

Kylie came under fire for launching three businesses in less than six months. She launched her clothing brand, Khy, in October 2023.

In March 2024, the 26-year-old announced the release of her debut perfume, COSMIC.

A few days later, Spriner, a ready-to-drink vodka soda, was released.

"I too would launch multiple businesses back to back if I had trust fund," one Instagram user wrote.

Another user commented: "Another day, another brand."

A third wrote: "What are you actually passionate about?"

Many people are predicting the downfall of Kylie and her equally famous sisters, Kendall Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kim, and Kourtney Kardashian.

But the Kardashian-Jenner family has weathered far worse storms, so we doubt a few boos and rushed brand launches will hurt that much.
