Drake releases new music video featuring his son
Updated | By Poelano Malema
The music video came out just hours before the release of Drake's new album 'For All the Dogs'.
The global star released a video of the song, '8AM in Charlotte' on Thursday which starts off with his son Adonis explaining the artwork he made for the album cover.
Drake asks his son to tell him about his "beautiful piece of artwork” he recently sold to him.
The son explains that the artwork is about a goat running away from monsters while a burning flower blocks the way. The goat happens to be Drake.
"That makes perfect sense to me," Drake response to his son.
Drake's new album released at midnight on 6 October, while last month, he released the single 'Slime You Out' featuring SZA.
The song became the first collaboration between the two of them and went on to top the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.
'For All The Dogs' is Drake's eighth solo studio album.
Drake first referenced the album when he spoke about the release of his first poetry book, 'Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream of Consciousness' in June.
"I made an album to go with the book. They say they miss the old Drake girl don't tempt me. FOR ALL THE DOGS," he wrote.
#Drake has been trending on X on Thursday with many of the star's fans talking about what they expect from the new album.

It’s insane to me that people still try and discredit Drake as a rapper when he’s dropping music like this.
