Connie Ferguson is ageing like fine wine, and her workout routine probably has a lot to do with it.
The 53-year-old actress entered her June birthday month with a challenging workout. Connie, who has starred in popular shows such as 'Generations' and 'The Queen', takes her fitness seriously.
She is often spotted at the gym sweating up a storm.
"Started my birth month with a leg session that got my legs vibrating like a Nokia 3310! Compound work is not for sissies! When the body gives up, the mind has to take over! It’s a serious battle! I proved to myself just how strong my mind is today because demmit I was in pain! But I finished what I started! Already conquering June!" she wrote.

Connie Ferguson is serious about her fitness routine for more than its physical benefits. In 2022, she revealed that exercising has a positive effect on her mental health.
"Exercise is good for so many different reasons, but the reason I commit even when I don’t feel like it, is because of its effect on my mental health!" she wrote on Instagram in February that year.
Several months earlier, Connie lost her husband, Shona Ferguson, due to COVID-19 complications.
She has also suffered from depression in the past and took antidepressants to help manage the condition.
"It’s been years that I’ve been off antidepressants, and even in the most challenging times, I managed to stay off. Wake up, PRAY, exercise and go about your day."
Connie is just days away from turning 54, and her followers are inspired by her amazing physique.
"Look at you😍😍 oh mama 🙌 you’re definitely an inspiration ❤️ I’m so proud of you🙌🏽 you did it," one commented on her latest Instagram post.
Another fan wrote: "You are a true inspiration!"
