We jammin' - Chrissy Teigen shares review of Meghan Markle's jam
Updated | By Tamlyn Canham
Move over, King Charles! There's a new royal jam in town, and it is already getting the approval of celebrities like Chrissy Teigen...
Meghan Markle is following in her father-in-law King Charles' footsteps by releasing her own jam.
The Duchess of Sussex launched a new brand called American Riviera Orchard in March and has been sending out the first batch to a few of her friends to try before its official release.
Chrissy Teigen was one of the lucky few who got their hands on the strawberry spread. The 'Cravings' cookbook author shared a video of herself making a sandwich with Meghan's jam.
"We jammin!! This might have been one of the best bites we’ve had all year - all we used is some rustic bread, salted butter, triple cream brie, thick cut bacon and some @americanrivieraorchard jam! took about 8 mins total and made us happy for the entire weekend.
Her daughter, Luna, and husband, John Legend, both tried the jam and gave it a positive review.

Battle of the Royal Jams
Meghan is not the only royal to have their own jam line. Her father-in-law, King Charles, launched his luxury jams and preserves in the 1990s.
News of Meghan's jam has resulted in sales of the king's jams increasing. The official Buckingham Palace Shop Instagram page is taking advantage of the free publicity. It released a new video showing off its strawberry preserve.
"Our Strawberry Preserve is made using only the finest berries and is delicious served in a variety of ways. On a scone as part of a cream tea, on a crumpet, with a croissant, on toast," a video showing off the jam was captioned.
According to several reports, sales of the royal family's jars are soaring in the wake of Meghan's product reveal.
It's unclear when Meghan will make her jam available to the public. She only released 50 jars of the jam to close friends and family.
Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, live in Montecito, California, with their two children - Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Her brand's name is said to be inspired by the family's new life in Montecito.
