Camila Cabello's big night at the UEFA Champions League final was almost ruined by what she calls "rude" Liverpool fans.

The 25-year-old was the headline act for the final's opening ceremony on Saturday. Camila took to the pitch at Stade de France moments before Liverpool took on Real Madrid.

She sang a melody of her songs including 'Bam Bam', 'Señorita', and 'Havana' during her carnival-themed performance.

"This was something I will never forget !!!!!!! Dream moment for all of us! Thank you UEFA @championsleague and @pepsiglobal #PepsiShow, we’re so honored to be part of such a huge game - I grew up watching soccer with my family and the energy in there was SO ELECTRIC I had so much fun watching afterwards too. Thank you so much to my team and the dancers and musicians and creatives that worked so hard on this show !!!" she wrote on Instagram.

But Camila's moment was dampened by Liverpool fans who booed during her performance and sang their team's anthem loud enough to drown out parts of her vocals.

Thousands of screaming football fans packed Stade de France on Saturday. The match was delayed after Liverpool fans with fake tickets and many without tickets reportedly caused chaos outside of the stadium.

Liverpool fans inside the stadium were causing a disruption of their own. Camila slammed the team's fans for their behaviour during her performance.

"Playing back our performance and I can’t believe people were singing their teams anthem so loud during our performance. Like my team and I worked tirelessly for so long to bring right vibes and give a good show," she wrote in a since-deleted tweet.

Camila noted that their actions were "very rude but whatever".
