Over the years, dating apps have gained popularity.
Millions of people around the world use dating apps. In fact, according to earth web, approximately 270-million people across the world use dating apps.
However, the challenge with dating online is that you could be sold a lie. You just never know who is on the other side of the screen. So trust plays a huge role when it comes to pursuing love online.
For 25-year-old Camila Cabello, the risk of online dating resulted in her only lasting a day on a dating app.

In an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, the singer says she left a dating app after she couldn't figure out the intentions of the first guy who messaged her.
She says the guy was an aspiring singer-songwriter. This meant that the guy could have been hoping to reach stardom through connecting with Camila.
"The first guy that DM'd me was like aspiring singer-songwriter from Nashville and I was just like, I feel weird cause somebody could be using me. You don't know there intentions," she told host Drew Barrymore.
The 'Havana' hitmaker, who once dated Shawn Mendes, says she prefers to date guys that have been 'vetted' by her friends.

"When you are just trying to make friends, you're gonna meet guys that are vetted by your friends, which is amazing," she told the host.
