'Bridgerton' season 3: First look at Penelope and Colin's romance
The social season is upon us and Netflix is teasing new details about the new 'Bridgerton' romance.
'Bridgerton' fans are eagerly awaiting season three of the popular Netflix series, and the streaming platform is finally giving them a first look at what they can expect.
It shared the first pictures from the season featuring Penelope Featherington (played by Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (played by Luke Newton).
Penelope and Colin's romance will take centre stage in season three as their romance is put under the spotlight. Netflix released the photos during its virtual Tudum fan event on Saturday.
"One cannot wait to witness how this friendship will blossom into love. Enjoy your first look at #Bridgerton Season 3," show creator Shonda Rhimes wrote on Instagram.

There's still no word on the season 3 release date but reports suggest it will likely drop in late 2023.
Both seasons of 'Bridgerton' - including its spin-off, 'Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story' - have been an overwhelming success.
Several cast members are expected to return for the new season. However, Phoebe Dynevor is not expected to reprise her role as Daphne Bridgerton. Her romance with Simon Basset (Regé-Jean Page) kicked off the franchise in season one.
Regé-Jean was MIA from season two, while Phoebe played a supporting role. Three new characters will be introduced next season; Daniel Francis (Marcus Anderson), James Phoon (Harry Dankworth), and 'The Crown' star Sam Philips (Lord Debling).
Fans are looking forward to seeing how Penelope and Colin's love story unfolds, especially considering the fact that she was exposed as Lady Whisteldown in season one.
And based on season two, their budding romance is already off to a rocky start. Colin revealed that he could not see himself romantically involved with Penelope.
But there are bigger threats to their potential romance, as one fan pointed out.
"But the question is will Lady Whistledown expose Penelope for the manipulative friend she's been to the Bridgertons? Collin couldn't possibly forgive her for the public slights and embarrassment against his sisters and brothers or for what she did to Marina...could he?" one Instagram user asked.
