Queen B reportedly did background checks on everyone working on her new 'Renaissance' album.
Beyoncé is not taking any chances when it comes to her new music. The 40-year-old is gearing up for the release of her seventh solo studio album, 'Renaissance'.
According to The Sun, Queen B is taking extra precautions to make sure she doesn't collaborate with artists and producers who have #MeToo allegations levelled against them.
The Grammy Award-winning singer allegedly rejected two songs by artists who have faced abuse accusations.
"She made the decision after producer Detail, who worked on her 2013 hit 'Drunk In Love', was arrested in August 2020. He was charged with raping five women and sexually assaulting a sixth between 2010 and 2018 and is being held on bail," the publication claimed.
Social media users have been known to call out musicians who work with artists facing sexual harassment or abuse claims.
Drake was slammed last year for giving R. Kelly a credit on his 'Certified Lover Boy' album. R. Kelly did not directly work on the album, but the rapper had to give him a songwriter credit after sampling his 1998 classic, ‘Half on a Baby’.

The lead single from Beyoncé's new album, 'Break My Soul', is officially her first solo top 10 hit in six years.
The track, which is currently #7 on the Billboard Hot 100, is also her 20th solo top 10 hit.
She last achieved the feat in 2016 with her single, 'Formation'. Beyoncé says creating her new album has been a dream.
"My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music," she captioned a picture of the album cover art.
'Renaissance' is due for release on July 29.
