Benny Blanco takes over Selena Gomez's glam routine

The Rare Beauty founder lets her fiancé do her makeup and the results are surprising.

Selena Gomez has some of the world's best makeup artists at her beck and call, but she temporarily ditched the professionals so that a special someone could do her glam.

The 32-year-old shared an adorable video of her partner, Benny Blanco, doing her makeup.

"Letting my fiancé do my makeup using @rarebeauty @itsbennyblanco," she wrote.

Blanco, a record producer and songwriter by profession, happily obliged even though it was quite obvious he had no idea what he was doing.

"Where do I start? What's this called," he asked while holding up pressed powder.

Gomez was quite the encouraging girlfriend.

"That's good, babe. Now I'm proud," she said while he brushed powder on her face.

He then decided to apply "this stuff", which turned out to be a very dark shade of liquid contour. Needless to say, "this stuff" was not appropriately applied, which she found hilarious.

Despite his clear lack of makeup knowledge, Gomez's fans found the video adorable.

"This has to be trend! Hahahahahahahaha," her 'Emilia Perez' co-star Zoe Saldaña teased.

A Selenator commented: "HAHAHA GUYS, Benny is Ross [from 'Friends'] doing Rachel's makeup when she had a broken arm."

We doubt Blanco will be hired for any future red-carpet events, but at least he tried.

Gomez and Blanco started dating in 2023, shortly after she worked on her song, 'Single Soon'. They confirmed their romance in December of that year.

In December 2024, they announced their engagement.

"Forever begins now..." Gomez captioned a picture of her diamond ring.

The singer and her fiancé are making sweet music together again. They are set to release a joint album, 'I Said I Love You First', on March 21.

Two singles from the project are already out, including 'Call Me When You Break Up' featuring Gracie Abrams.
