AKA's mom gives DJ Zinhle and Nadia Nakai a shoutout in sweet post
Nobody wins when the family feuds - Lynn Forbes is grateful for her blended family this Mother's Day.
AKA's mom, Lynn 'Glammy' Forbes, had a special message to share ahead of Mother's Day this Sunday.
She took to Instagram to not only honour her own mother, Janet Reed, but all the people who make their blended family possible. Lynn gave AKA's ex-girlfriend DJ Zinhle a shoutout in the sweet post. Zinhle shares a daughter, Kairo Forbes, with AKA.
The DJ is currently dating Black Motion's Murdah Bongz, who is the father of her second child, Asante. AKA's current girlfriend, Nadia Nakai, also got a mention in Lynn's post.
"My beautiful blended family …" she captioned the post which features pictures of all the special people in her life.
Lynn added: "As we approach Mother’s Day and as I reflect on motherhood, I am most grateful for my own mother and for what she has taught me about love and family. Raising a blended family, through many challenges, to live together in harmony and raise well-balanced, happy children, is not always easy but it’s possible when everyone works together, in the best interest of the youngest children in the family."ALSO READ: Sealed with a kiss! Lynn tagged Zinhle, Nadia, Murdah Bongz, Kairo, and Asante in her post.
"To the people who make this family possible, thank you. You each have your own family and nothing can ever take away from the importance of belonging to that family, that is most important and always will be. But today, in this moment, as we celebrate mother’s and family … this family, beautifully blended, is not possible without you and the energy you bring, to make us what we are …a family …"

Lynn and Zinhle remained close after her split from AKA. They are often pictured spending time together, with Lynn regularly spending time at the DJ's home.
Their relationship was put to the test during AKA's relationship with Bonang Matheba. The rapper claimed in a 2016 Twitter rant that his mother had a better relationship with Zinhle than him.
Lynn clarified that Zinhle had never tried to turn her against her son or his then partner, Queen B.
"I support her [Zinhle] because she is an incredible woman and she treats me with great respect," Lynn said at the time.
The mom and son cleared the air after the incident and are closer than ever. Zinhle and AKA's co-parenting relationship is also going well.
During an episode of her reality show, 'DJ Zinhle: Unexpected', she revealed that AKA wanted to part of Asante's life. Lynn also adores Asante. She visited the baby girl shortly after her birth.
