Dr Gcina Mhlophe's 'African Story Magic' is the gift that keeps on giving.
The podcast series, which was launched earlier this year in collaboration with East Coast Radio, has received another top honour.
Apple Podcasts featured the podcast on its 'Shows We Love 2023' list.
"The hand-curated collection features some of the most compelling podcasts of the year. These are the shows Apple Podcasts editors got excited about, shared with others, and found so gripping we couldn't stop listening," Apple wrote about the list.
'African Story Magic' appeared on the list alongside 'The History of South Africa with Des Latham' and Nicole Engelbrecht's 'True Crime South Africa'.

Dr Mhlophe is a world-renowned storyteller who has managed to captivate audiences with her enchanting African stories.
The magical stories, which are told in both English and isiZulu, will live on in the memories of listeners for years to come.
"I truly believe that every living being has a story to tell. That is why I tell stories to ignite the stories in other people. Over the years I have enjoyed telling stories on TV, Radio, Online, with dancers choreographing my stories into unique stage productions. Podcasting is another platform to tell stories in a relatable way that people consume stories," Dr Mhlope said in an interview earlier this year.
