'Adopt me!' - Ambani pre-wedding bash causes a frenzy

The wealthiest family in India hosted a pre-wedding bash that left many people's jaws on the floor. 

The Ambani wedding is making headlines all over the world following a three-day extravaganza that attracted rich and famous guests such as  Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, and Ivanka Trump.

A total of 1200 people were reportedly invited. 

Anant Ambani, the son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, is set to marry his girlfriend Radhika Merchant. 

According to Forbes, the Ambani family has a net worth of $117 billion. That's more than two trillion Rand! 

It comes as no surprise that Anant and Radhika's families pulled out all the stops to make their pre-wedding party a grand affair.

Huge cases of her luggage were spotted arriving in India ahead of her performance. 

Rihanna performed several of her hits including 'All of the Lights'. 

The beauty mogul, who is a billionaire herself, was reportedly paid between $6 million and $9 million to perform. 

The 36-year-old was also spotted mingling with some of the VIP guests including Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. 

The Bollywood star also performed at the celebration. 

Facebook founder Mark  Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan were spotted at several events during the three-day celebration. 

Mark was spotted wearing a 'Sunderbans Tigress' shirt, which was reportedly designed by Rahul Mishra.

"Love an Indian wedding. Congrats to Anant and Radhika!" he wrote on Instagram.

Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka also wore traditional Indian attire. She was joined by her daughter Arabella. 

Her husband Jared Kushner was also in attendance.

"Closing the curtains on an enchanting weekend celebrating the love story of Anant and Radhika," Ivanka wrote on Instagram.

Other famous guests at the event were Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and cricket star Sachin Tendulkar. 

Anant and Radhika will only be getting married in July, and if the pre-wedding celebration is anything to go by guests can expect fireworks. 

Social media users are begging the Ambani family to take them in or at least send them an invite. 

"Can Mukesh Ambani just adopt already..." one social media user wrote. 

An X user wrote: "Kinda mad that the Ambanis forgot to invite me to the wedding."

As for Anant, he is just grateful to have awesome parents who spend millions on his special day, uhm, more like days. 

"My father and mother have always stood by me, and my father and mother have always made me feel that if I can think, I'll do it. And that is how much my father and mother mean to me, and I am eternally grateful," he said in a speech.
