Woman opens sexual abuse case against Jamie Foxx

Jamie Foxx has become the latest celebrity to be accused of sexual assault.

An unidentified woman has accused 'Django Unchained' actor Jamie Foxx of sexual misconduct. 

The woman, who is referred to as 'Jane Doe', filed a lawsuit in New York City on Wednesday, reports Times Live

According to the complaint, Foxx groped her and put his hands under her clothing against her will in 2015. 

The alleged incident took place at Catch NYC rooftop lounge. 

The incident was allegedly witnessed by the complainant's friend. The two women allegedly approached Foxx to take photos. 

According to the publication,  the lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.

Foxx is yet to comment on the allegations.

Earlier this year, the actor suffered a health scare while filming his Netflix movie, 'Back in Action', in Atlanta. 

He was rushed to hospital. 

Speaking about the undisclosed health condition, the Oscar-winning actor said he was fighting for his life. 

"I went through something that I thought I would never ever go through," Foxx said on Instagram. 

"I didn't want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through," he added. 

"I went to hell and back and my road to recovery had some potholes as well."
