Beyonce’s new album 'Renaissance' makes history

The album was announced as the most streamed album in a single day by a female artist in 2022. The announcement was made by Spotify on Friday.
'Renaissance' is Beyoncé’s seventh album, and her first solo studio release since 2016.
It was released on July 29.

Queen B thanked her loyal fans for ignoring the leak.
"So, the album leaked, and you all actually waited until the proper release time so you all can enjoy it together. I've never seen anything like it," she wrote on her website.
The 'Break My Soul' hitmaker thanked her fans for protecting her music.
"I can't thank y'all enough for your love and protection. I appreciate you for calling out anyone that was trying to sneak into the club early. It means the world to me. Than you for your unwavering support. Thank you for being patient. We are going to take our time and enjoy the music," she wrote.
Lastly, she vowed to continue giving the world the best music like she has always done.
"I will continue to give my all and do my best to bring you joy," she concluded.
Talking about the new album, Beyoncé said the album allowed her to be free and without judgement.
"Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world," Beyonce on her website.
"It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration," she wrote.
The album has been well received by many of her fans.
