According to reports, an ANC party volunteer passed away at a voting station in Struisbaai, in the Western Cape this afternoon.
The ANC has sent their sympathies to the family of the deceased, who is believed to have died of natural causes.
The death follows that of a woman who died after collapsing in line at the Khethokuhle voting station in the Ingwe Municipality, in southern KZN.
Another death occurred at a voting stating in Strydenburg in the Northern Cape.
The names of the deceased have not been made public.
The IEC says they are saddened by these deaths.
