Elections 2016: Update on results at 13:00
The tallying of national results of the August 3 elections is now 94% complete, with the counting of KZN's votes also nearing completion at 96%. Here's an update of the results at 1pm today.
The ANC is leading in KZN with 57.09% of votes, the IFP in second at 18.9% of votes while the DA has garnered 15.11% of votes in the province.
In eThekwini, 55.61% of votes belong to the ANC, the DA is sitting at 27.28% of votes while the IFP has accumulated 4.13% of votes in the metro.
While the DA has confirmed a stronghold in Chatsworth, parts of Tongaat and Verulam.
