What would be the best way to deal with a debt accumulated with the municipality?
As a consumer there are moments where we feel misguided or lost when we are unable to get the support from a retailer. It leaves us feeling at our wits end and can lead to frustration.
A caller contacted Wendy Knowler, because she got a new phone and it had a dead spot, upon taking it to the retailer, it cracks and now she finds herself in a cracky situation...
Then there's another situation that really caught everyone's attention. It had to do with the municipality...Wendy gave some sound advice when it came to meter readings and ensuring a more accurate billing.
She said that it would be good to note down your meter readings for both electricity and water, and upload these to the eThekwini municipality website. Listen to the full consumer watch segment below.
If you would like to receive some sound advice from the consumer watch queen, you can send through your voice notes to 061 792 9495.
