Big fishing in Mozambique
Updated | By Staff Writer
Attracting 132 anglers last year and already on 123 entries this year, it is the biggest event of its kind in the world.
Last year's winner, Pieter Steenkamp, as well as inaugural champ and consistent top finisher, Clive Murphy, are notably absent this year due to work and other commitments.
However, the field is still extremely strong with many other top jet ski anglers attending. This promises a tense affair.
It is a catch, photo and release event, meaning impact on the fish species is very minimal.
The points are worked out via a species and weight multiplier system.
