Vehicle burned at DUT's Steve Biko campus
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Lectures are commencing at the Durban University of Technology this morning, after a DUT-owned vehicle was set alight at the Steve Biko campus last night.
The incident comes at a time when all eyes are on university campuses, following recent violent protests across KZN - and other parts of the country.
Police are currently investigating who is behind the crime, as well as the possible motives for it.
Newswatch also understands that the graduation office was targeted a week ago - with what's believed to be a petrol bomb.

However, it has been established that this latest incident of destruction to campus property relates to a SRC inauguration which is expected to take place today.
The university is only expected to comment once it has all the facts, as investigations continue.
