Support pours in for Tokai teen's family, friends
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Messages of support and condolences continue to pour in support of the family of slain teenager, Franziska Blöchliger.
The 16-year-old was attacked while jogging though the Tokai Forest on Monday afternoon.
Western Cape police have arrested three suspects in connection with her death.
Blöchliger had been out for a walk with her mother, sister and dog in the afternoon when she decided to go for a quick jog alone.
When she didn't return to meet her mum - police were alerted and a search began.
Her body was found a few hours later.
The teachers of the Grade 10 pupil have described her as 'a vibrant and loving person.'
The Constantia Waldorf School teachers said in a statement that teachers and pupils were mourning her death.
Hundreds of Capetonians joined a vigil yesterday evening to remember the teenager. The residents silently walked along the path that she had gone jogging.
BF just sent me this photo of Tokai. Sometimes I worry that the world is only bad, but then I see photos like this. pic.twitter.com/6hFNkUX11h
