Students linked to disruptions could be arrested: UKZN
Management at the University of KwaZulu-Natal is warning those who further disrupt the academic programme that they could face arrest.
Lectures at the university are due to resume today after classes were suspended due to protests at some UKZN campuses over the past two weeks.
The decision to suspend lectures last week was taken as talks continued between management and Student Representative Council.
Among the issues raised include fee increases, financial aid and the state of some residences.
Management and the SRC met last week for discussions.

UKZN spokesperson, Lesiba Seshoka says there will be high police visibility on campuses this week.
"As a university - we are appealing to all our students for calm on campus go to their classes. We shall do all we can to ensure that there's adequate security on our campus in order to prevent anything that may disturb the academic programme," he said.
