SA landmarks light up in 100-day Olympic Games countdown
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Amongst landmarks around the globe, the Nelson Mandela Bridge and Table Mountain lit up in green and yellow marking the countdown to the 2016 Olympic Games.

Yesterday marked exactly 100 days before the Olympic Games 2016 kick off in Rio de Janeiro Brazil on Friday, August 5.
Organisations such as The Embassy of Brazil in Pretoria and the South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee partnered to express their support for the Olympic and Paralympic Games by illuminating both of SA's historical sites in colours of Brazil.
SASCOC CEO, Tubby Reddy says the athletes and administrators have all worked hard to ensure that the Games will be another event to document in sporting history.
"I have absolutely no doubt that Team SA will rise to the occasion and do us proud. SASCOC wishes all athletes well as they embark upon the final leg in their preparations," he said.
