Nando's witty take on #PayBackTheMoney
Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Nando's has again released a witty advertisement - this time alluding to President Jacob Zuma's announcement to repay a portion of the money used to upgrade his private home in Nkandla.
Zuma released a statement yesterday, as set out in a letter to the registrar of the Constitutional Court, stating he's willing to repay a portion of the money as directed by the Auditor General and Minister of Finance.
Despite this, the DA says the party will continue with arguments to be heard at the Constitutional Court next week that Zuma should implement the Public Protector's 2014's recommendations on compensating for state funds.
Nando's has shared the advertisement on Twitter, using hashtags #PayBackMoney - which has been trending since the announcement - and #HowMuchThough.
