Man seriously hurt in Pinetown shooting incident
Police are investigating a shooting incident in Pinetown, west of Durban, that has left one man seriously wounded.
ER24 paramedics say they arrived on the scene yesterday to find the man believed to be in his 30s lying on Kings Road.
ER24 spokesperson, Chitra Bodasing, says on assessment it was found the man had sustained a single gunshot wound.
"He was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care," she said.
"The exact details surrounding the incident are unknown but authorities were on scene for further investigation," Bodasing said.
