Madonsela to release report into state capture on Friday
Updated | By Samkelo Maseko
Outgoing Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela says she'll release her report into state capture on Friday.
Madonsela held a conversation for News24 Editor Adrian Basson in Sandton yesterday evening.
Madonsela says she would not heed the call from President Zuma to defer the investigation to the incoming Public Protector.
She says the President was aware the probe and was given more than enough time to prepare documentation.
The president's legal team proposed Madonsela drop the inquest for now as the president would like to interview the people she had spoken to himself.
The Public Protector says she is yet to see the letter sent by the Guptas to her office in which they complain about her conduct during the probe.
"I absolutely have no idea what they are talking about. There is a report that we're going to release on Friday," she said.
Here are some of insights shared during the conversation.
