Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
All eyes are now on the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature as we wait to see hear when Transport MEC Willies Mchunu who has been nominated by the ANC as the next premier of the province will be sworn in.
Mchunu will be replacing out-going Senzo Mchunu who resigned yesterday.
At a press brief, the ANC provincial leadership told journalists that the former MEC's nomination comes after consultation with the political leadership of the Tripartite Alliance.

Provincial Secretary Super Zuma says they will not comment any further on the matter.
''On the issues related to MEC, whether we are talking what will happen in the Department of Transport or other issues related to reshuffling, I'll repeat what I said earlier on - we won't be able to respond or announce any matter that has not been processed by the organisation,'' he said.
Mchunu is likely to be redeployed to the National Assembly.
