Five men are due to appear in the Camperdown Magistrate's Court today in connection with the murder of two men in Inchanga a little over a week ago.
38-year-old Bongani Hlatshwayo and 68-year-old Philip Dlamini were killed during an SACP meeting at a sports ground in the area.
The shooting left four other people hurt. The suspects, aged between 25 and 43 years of age, were arrested yesterday.
The police's Jay Naicker says they face charges of murder, attempted murder and malicious damage to property.
"When the suspects were arrested, we also recovered five firearms from them. These firearms will be subjected to bullet testing to establish if they were used in the incident," he said.
