A surviving member of the family that was massacred in KwaCeza in northern KZN says they will most likely be laid to rest on Saturday.
The family was attacked at their homestead in the Mpambulekweni area on Saturday night.
Reports suggest that the cause of the attack was due to a family feud.
18-month-old toddler, Vangeli Xulu was one the victims who was hacked to death.

Buthelezi's husband Bongimpilo Zondo who lost his parents as well says they are wracking their brains trying to figure out why the they were targeted.
"It's difficult. It's very difficult. We don't even know where to begin. We don't even have a place to stay. The family is heart sore. Our home is gone, we have no place to go," he said.
KZN police spokesperson Shooz Magudulela says the investigation is continuing.
"We have arrested five suspects. They were busy looking for other additional suspects, the provincial task team is on the ground there trying to locate more suspects," he said.
The five arrested suspects will appear in the Mahlabathini Magistrate's Court today. Four unlicensed firearms were recovered last night while officers continued their investigation.
