Ivan Pillay and Johann Van Loggerenberg did indicate that they would present themselves as requested.

Various civil society organisations will show their support to those summoned.

ANC stalwart George Bizos and retired constitutional judge Johan Kriegler are expected to be among those present.

The Hawks are accusing Gordhan of acting corruptly by offering an early retirement to Pillay but critics of the move to indict the finance minister believe this is merely a part of President Jacob Zuma's attempt to take control of the operations at treasury.
