DA criticises ANC over Mchunu resignation
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The DA in KwaZulu-Natal has accused the ANC of having no interest in the people.

The party has been reacting to the news of Senzo Mchunu's resignation as KZN Premier.
The ANC neither confirmed nor denied the rumours that surfaced on Friday that Mchunu had been given until yesterday to resign.

KZN DA leader Zwakele Mncwango says the ANC has undermined the communities within the province by continuously lying.
''The main reason why they asked the Premier and MEC to resign, it's all because they want to get government resources and also benefit from those resources.
''This means they have no interest of the poor, businesses, or our economy because these changes definitely will affect our economic growth in this province. You can't just make such changes,'' he said.
The ANC responded earlier saying it will not be drawn into rumours and speculations.
