BREAKING: Sindisiwe Manqele guilty of Flabba's murder
Sindisiwe Manqele has been found guilty of murdering her musician boyfriend Nkululeko 'Flabba' Habedi.
Judge Solly Sithole handed down the verdict a short while ago in South Gauteng High Court after a lengthy judgement which he began reading this morning.
Manqele stabbed the Skwatta Kamp rapper at his home in Alexandra in March, apparently following an argument.
Judge Sithole has rejected Manqele's version of self-defence as false, saying there was no relationship between Habedi's alleged attack and Manqele's defensive actions.
"The court finds that the accused, in her private defence - which is the basis of her plea - exceeded the limits or bounds of such defence by plunging the steak knife into the chest of the deceased thus intentionally and unlawfully killing him," he said.
