BREAKING: Alleged robbers shot dead in Greytown

An unconfirmed number of people have been killed in a shootout in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands.
There are reports as many as five people have died in the shootout involving police and a gang of armed men in Greytown.
A police spokesperson confirmed the incident but says they are still waiting for more information from officers on the scene.
Initial reports suggest that the shoot-out happened after the officers approached the alleged robbers.
Police were following the suspects who are believed to have been involved in a robbery that took place in Newcastle this morning.
