Five reasons you should appreciate your wife more
Updated | By East Coast Radio
It’s Wife Appreciation Day this Sunday. Yes,
that is a real holiday, and no, we did not make it up.
The day is celebrated on September 18 every year, and it is a chance for husbands around the world to show their better halves some gratitude.
If you didn’t take advantage of Mother’s Day, Women’s Day, or even her birthday to celebrate the special woman in your life (shame on you!), then the universe has given you yet another chance to do so.
What about Husband Appreciation Day? Oops, looks like we all forgot that one. It’s April 15, so mark that one on your calendar, boys!
In the meantime, here’s why you really need to spoil your wife with flowers, chocolate, dinner, or a relaxing day at the spa on Sunday.
She has super powers
It’s the talk of all guys’ night outs, how wives just magically appear whenever they need them, or how dishes magically disappear overnight. Yes, your wife has super powers and appears out of nowhere to save the day just like a hybrid of Houdini and Superwoman.
She can run on four hours of sleep
Who cares if she had to stay up all night with a sick child or husband (we all know how bad the man flu can get), come sunrise, she is ready to go! Though, she may need a few dozen cups of coffee!
She has a heart of gold
Whether it is calming a crying toddler, friend, sister, or husband (after his favourite team lost), your wife is always ready with a shoulder to cry on.
She can multitask
What is multitasking, many men may ask? Just ask your wife, she knows the answer (like everything else). This is not a myth, studies have shown that women are better at multitasking than men, and you have certainly witnessed your wife in action.
She loves you
Despite that look she gives you while washing the dishes while you relax on the couch watching sport, she loves you to the moon and back – flaws and all!
Yip, your wife is amazing. Happy Wife Appreciation Day!
