Zayn Malik shares snippet of new music video
The former One Direction member is ready to make his big return to music.
English musician Zayn Malik has shared a sneak peek of his latest music project. The 30-year-old teased a snippet of his vocals for an upcoming single on Instagram.
The snippet appears to be from a music video. Zayn did not caption the post, leaving his fans guessing about when his new song and video will be released.
Zayn last released an album in 2021. 'Nobody Is Listening' was his third solo project. The 11-track album featured songs such as 'Better' and 'Vibez'.
According to his Spotify bio, "Zayn is currently working on his highly anticipated fourth studio album.”
His latest teaser comes four days after he shared another clip from his video. The clip showed him standing on top of a rooftop while music from his upcoming song plays in the background.

According to Billboard, Zayn is expected to release new music "very soon". The offering will be his first with his new music label, Mercury Records.
"As soon as ZAYN and I met, I knew we had to work together. I was blown away by the new music, but just as impressed by his vision, drive and spirit. We’re honored he and his team have joined us at Mercury Records. We’ve got an incredible opportunity to tell the next chapter of his story together," Tyler Arnold, President of Mercury Records, said in a statement.
Sources told Billboard that Zayn is experimenting with a new sound that is different from his previous offerings.
The former One Direction member's biggest hits include 'Pillowtalk', 'Dusk Till Dawn' featuring Sia, and 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' with Taylor Swift.
All three songs have more than one-billion streams each on Spotify.
There was talk a few months ago that Zayn could be collaborating with Selena Gomez after the pair were spotted out together. Others claimed their partnership was a romantic one and had nothing to do with new music.
Those rumours have since fizzled out. Selena and Zayn unfollowed each other on Instagram a week ago. She also unfollowed his former girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.
The model is also the mother of Zayn's two-year-old daughter, Khai.
