Kesha has released a new single featuring American rapper T-Pain, whose real name is Faheem Rasheed Najm.

The 'TiK ToK' singer released 'Yippee-Ki-Yay' on all streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and Amazon Music.

"@TPAIN hose me down at the trailer park?" she captioned an Instagram video featuring her new song.

The line is one of the lyrics in the country-pop song.

"B****, I just got a brand new car / Hose me down at the trailer park / We lit up like a bonfire / Singin' yippee-ki-yay, yippee-ki-ya-ya," she sings.

'Yippee-Ki-Yay' is not the only surprise Kesha had for her fans. She also released the title and name of her new album.

'Period', styled as the punctuation mark, will premiere on July 4, Independence Day in America.

It is the 38-year-old's sixth studio album and her first as an independent artist.

"Just turned in my album... to myself. @kesharecords," she wrote a week before releasing 'Yippee-Ki-Yay'.

If the song is any indication, Kesha's upcoming album will be on everyone's party playlist.

"This song got me feeling a whole new type of good mood," one Kesha fan wrote.

'Yippee-Ki-Yay' is the third single released from '. (Period)'.

It follows 'Joyride' and 'Delusional', which were both released in 2024.

The 11-track album includes songs such as 'Red Flag', 'Boy Crazy', 'Cathedral' and 'Freedom'.

In a July 2024 interview with Forbes magazine, Kesha opened up about her decision to become an independent artist and start her label.

"It's wild that a human being can lose the rights to their recorded voice in perpetuity in the universe... I'm really excited to build a safe space for artists because creation and fear cannot co-exist. When you're in a state of fear, you cannot create, and I know this from personal experience," she said.

Kesha says she is excited to see her label "expand and grow", especially in unexpected ways.

"I'm currently looking into the tech space, and I'm looking to find partners who have the values that I align with. So, in addition to the traditional record label model, I'm also looking to the future, and I'm looking for some really creative, boundary-pushing, innovative tech creators that want to change how the music business works and bring a new level of transparency to the whole business. So, I'm in a really exciting space right now."

She also reacted to the success of 'Joyride', which fans praised.

"Like the most gratitude, happiness – I feel free for the first time since I was 18 years old, and I so appreciate every single person that has streamed it, and I love the videos that are being made.

"I've spent almost 10 years in litigation and millions of dollars in legal fees. This joy has been hard-fought for me, so I love that people are ready to 'Joyride' with me."
