Joe Jonas is making music for people who believe in love...
Joe Jonas is ready to release his "most personal" music project to date. The 34-year-old released his new song, 'Work It Out, on Friday, July 19.
The track is his first as a solo artist in over 10 years. 'Work It Out' is the lead single from his upcoming album, 'Music For People Who Believe In Love', which drops on October 18.
Joe announced the title of his album and release date this week in a letter to fans he shared on social media.
"This album is a celebration of gratitude, hope and love. These songs reflect on my life from a bird's-eye view, acknowledging the many blessings around me," he wrote.
Joe's new music comes 10 months after he filed for divorce from his wife, 'Game of Thrones' actress Sophie Turner.
"After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage," a statement shared on Instagram wrote.
He insisted that the move was a "united decision" and Sophie shared the same statement on social media. However, things turned ugly when the former couple fought over custody of their two children, Willa and Delphine. They later reached a temporary custody agreement.
Both Joe and Sophie have since moved on to other relationships.
"It's okay to cry and mourn a loss - it's part of the process to take care of ourselves and eventually enables us to be there for the people we care about," Joe wrote in the statement about his new album.

Speaking on 'Andy Cohen Live', Joe revealed that 'Work It Out' was one of the last songs added to the album. He says it took him two weeks to complete it.
"It was just flowing through me," he said.
Joe only had a limited time to work on his solo project as he had other stuff to do with the Jonas Brothers. The pop rock band, which includes his brothers Kevin and Nick Jonas, will be going back on tour soon.
Their world tour, which celebrates their five albums, will make stops in Mexico, Ireland, England, Australia, Italy, Spain, France, and more from August 2024.
There's a good chance that Joe will sing some of his new music.

'Work It Out' song lyrics
Joe, who is also a member of DNCE, wrote 'Work It Out' with Kane Ritchotte and Jason Evigan.
An unreleased song on his upcoming album, 'Only Love', kicked off his solo album project. The song was initially meant for the Jonas Brothers, but he felt it had a deeper meaning for himself.
"This is the most personal music I think I've ever written in a body of work. I think a lot of the times you get pitched songs, you have outside writers or producers that say, ‘Hey, here’s a cool idea.’ And then you’re like, ‘Great. Let me make this make sense.’ And also why I wanted it to be my voice and not three guys or DNCE is because I was like, ‘It’s weird when somebody else is speaking from your experience sometimes," he told Andy.
Joe's fans are proud of him for pouring his heart out in his new song. "This song is my new mantra. Thank you Joe! So proud of you!" one fan wrote on YouTube.
The upbeat song has a positive message about dealing with life's setbacks. He sings on the track:
Come on, Joe, you got so much more to be grateful for
Stop bein' sad 'cause you're makin' the room uncomfortable
Okay, I get it, right now, you're feelin' so miserable
Sometimes I wish I had powers to be invisible
Even baddies get saddies and that's the hardest truth
Called your mommy and daddy, they don't know what to do
You're seein' everything backwards when it's so beautiful
Sometimes I need remindin'
